As Michelle Ponders Ditching Barry the DNC Does Too

While Democrats do dumb things, the confluence of their actions continues to produce results that advance their agenda. When they fall, they somehow manage to fall forward. So, the current travails of America’s political left have the nation wondering if, despite Trump and DOGE and all the progressive internecine turmoil, the Republicans can find a way to save them by being exponentially dumber.

That’s never a definite no, but things look shabby for the political Left. A land where the Clintons hated the Obamas, and the Obamas hated the Clintons, and everyone hated the Bidens, but the enemy of your enemy, as they say. It would take all of them to push America off the cliff, but at the last moment, America bent like a reed in the wind, and the Dems find themselves tumbling off that cliff like political lemmings.

Lemmings don’t run off cliffs the way frogs don’t stay in the pot as the water gets hotter. The frog jumps out when it gets uncomfortable, but the lemming myth works, so let’s cling bitterly to that one for a bit longer.

The Democrat’s problems, have problems, and not ones as simple as white people-African caucuses, or spelling Celebration incorrectly.

More Democrats are openly criticizing Obama strategists and consultants, who were long treated as the high priests of their party’s politics. Democratic National Committee officials at a news event last month blamed Obama’s lack of investment in state parties over his two terms for setting back local organizing, with the party still feeling the effects. The so-called Obama coalition of voters — less politically engaged voters, younger voters and voters of color — is no more. In 2024, each of those groups shifted toward Trump in high numbers.

Going forward, it could mark a clean slate for a party whose course for nearly two decades cascaded from decisions Obama had made. It was Obama who chose Biden as his vice president, offering him the elevated perch that set up his 2020 election and his aborted 2024 re-election. Obama selected Hillary Clinton as his secretary of state, then anointed her for the Democratic nomination in the 2016 race against Trump. The operatives Obama and his top aides empowered have carved out leading, decision-making roles at the top of the Democratic Party since then.

But after 2024, more Democrats want to see that change.

Thus, the headline.

It is rumored that Michelle is pondering a separation from Barry. Is it because he had her favorite chef murdered? Is it the failure to achieve world king or deity status post-POTUS/FLOTUS? Why aren’t you the grand vizier of the UN, Barry? Why? Perhaps, despite his suspicious accumulation of wealth, he can no longer afford to send her on massive, entourage-burdened junkets like he once did? There’s no spared expense when it’s at taxpayer expense, they say. Or could it be ED? Electoral Dysfunction. He isn’t doing the party any favors and has, arguably, led it to that cliff over which the progressives find themselves tumbling.

And has she been having wine-fueled late-lunch “gurl chats” over her relationship woes?

Women who complain to their girlfriends about their husbands, whom they are divorcing, can have a toxic effect on their friends’ relationships. I’ve seen it in real time. The cascade of divorces in friend groups after the first one decides the vows are worthless or broken (with good reasons or not), and that it is time to get out, is a phenomenon worthy of a USAID grant.

Custody Battles

I’m not sure who Michelle Obama is talking to, but if true, it’s actually sad. Who gets the Netflix Deal? The soon-to-be (any day now) below sea-level mansion. Do you need DOGE to help?

The young ladies who played their daughters are all grown up and doing whatever you do until you inherit your parents’ ill-gotten political gains. What about them? They could try the DNC. It is always looking for women of color (who are men) to fill key positions. I’m not saying the Obama daughters are boys or queer or trans, but given how woke the Party is why can’t they identify as women who are men pretending to be a woman attracted to men? I mean, seriously, what’s the difference?

It won’t be a gimme job, though. The Obama name isn’t likely to carry as much weight as it once did, and NBC’s revenge piece doesn’t help. It reportedly has 40-50 quoted insiders from a political party that was already struggling with its identity, which makes sense given how fluid that’s supposed to be. Maybe they are a domestic terror organization dressed as a political party, and it’s something of a mystery how they will continue to fall forward.

The Bidens are all but done with Joe’s late-stage cancer, and even if that’s a lie, well, they’re done. No one else in that family has anything of value to offer. They were all leeches.

The Obamas are out of favor and unlikely to survive the one-two punch of their Biden-Harris machinations.

That leaves the Clintons. Chelsea isn’t rising to take the reins. Bill and Hillary are old, but still upright and presumably cogent, with a lot of baggage to be unpacked as the Trump Administration and Congress rifle through the Bermuda shorts and pantsuits for truths to share with the public. Illegal servers. The Steele Dossier. Benghazi. Uranium One. They may never get the jail time they deserve, but I suspect their time of influence has waned.

Who’s left?

Sandy Cortez? She thinks so. Gavin, I ruined the Golden State. Newsom is going to run, but he can’t escape what he and Jerry Brown did to California, and neither can many of the people living there. I don’t see anyone with dynasty potential, but someone will have to rise to take the reins, for better or worse.

Marxists need a dear leader and their family empire, and the absence of one is their biggest problem. Without a top-down order to direct the rabid cross-dressing cat ladies, America sees only the chaos the party intended for them, and it isn’t easy to rebuild your one-party state when they’ve looked behind that curtain, or perhaps I should say, seen them open the trench coat and let all that crazy hang out.

A further divorce of America from the Democrat Party might be next. We can only pray we are so lucky.

But don’t just hope or pray. Work to make it happen. America will thank you.
