This week, SCOTUS decided 8-1 that Conversion Therapy bans violated the First Amendment. Advocates decided they didn’t care.

Kaley Chiles just wanted to be able to talk to her patients about things that they wanted to talk about. But Colorado in 2018 banned conversion therapy. If you’re not familiar with it, the ban makes it a one-way street.
If you want to talk about being attracted to the same sex as the one you are, that’s perfectly acceptable. In fact, you can talk about any sex as long as it’s not heterosexual. If you show up at a therapist and you feel like you’re attracted to the same sex, but you don’t want to be, the ban makes it against the law for your therapist to try to help you.
They used the cover of more dramatic or invasive techniques or treatments as an excuse to violate free speech. In some cases, depending on the state, (if) you are a pastor, a coach, or an adult in a position of responsibility. If a child asks you something about whether or not they should be attracted to the same sex or not, you don’t have any choice. You weren’t allowed. You could, theoretically, lose your license, lose your job. And that was deliberate.
The whole point was to make sure that the only conversation you could have was the one that progressives who passed these bills want. New Hampshire passed one in 2018. We came out right then and there and said the obvious. This is a violation of the First Amendment. This is viewpoint discrimination. You’re forcing people to literally not help their own patients in the ways that they want because of your own political agenda.
Well, Kaley Chiles, she brought her case to court, got all the way to the US Supreme Court, and she won, eight to one. Yeah, the dumb justice, Katanji Brown Jackson, had some lame excuse for thinking Colorado had the right to suppress her speech.
You can read the decision. I’m gonna link it in the transcript. And that’s what we’re talking about today. We’re talking about the decision. We’re talking about the First Amendment. We’re talking about the left’s progressive transgender agenda.
I think this is a good one. You’re gonna wanna read it.
