Is It Just Me or Did Dems Fall Into Another Trump Trap?
For more weeks than I can recall, the Political left’s Public Relations Industrial Complex has been shouting about a Maryland Man wrongly deported to El Salvador. Political campaigns, the Handmaiden Media, and even recently, more-than-likely defunded former USAID-receiving NGOs.
Abrego Garcia. The Left’s latest incarnation of George Floyd, Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin, and on we go—just some guy who was minding his own business and got swept up and mistreated by the system.
Pay no attention to the fact that most of the people of color who get wronged by The System are victims of decades of Democrat rule, by local government and the police forces hired, trained, managed, run, and overseen by Democrats since before hotdogs at the drive-in were twelve cents.
Abrego Garcia. Maryland Dad and about-town everyman. Innocent victim denied due process, whom even activist judges couldn’t save, but he’s back. Donald Trump's Department of Justice requested he be returned to the United States…to face a long list of criminal charges.
Before They Delete Them
Quick, go grab screenshots of all the tweets by local lefties who praised him as a victim of Trump’s intolerant totalitarian rule. From the roots to the tips to the Congressional press release - and be quick about it. They have reached their shelf life. Abrego is back just like the Demorrhoids wanted.
He’s facing “nine counts of human smuggling— all caught on bodycam. Each count carries a potential ten-year sentence, and the indictment hints at a gang enhancement, alleging Garcia’s role in an MS-13 trafficking conspiracy.”
Indeed, beyond the nine videotaped counts, the indictment accused Garcia of operating a large-scale human smuggling operation over nearly a decade, transporting thousands of undocumented migrants, including MS-13 gang members, from Central America into various parts of the United States. Prosecutors alleged that Garcia’s activities were not only extensive but also involved coercive methods (like raping and taking nude photos of underaged female transportees) and were connected to “violent criminal organizations.”
Trump Traps, 3-D Chess, Or Dumb Luck
Mr. Trump has an uncanny ability to get Democrats to go all in on things that then blow up in their faces. Whatever it is, he simply needs to take a position or initiate an action or just a conversation, and the political left’s messaging industrial complex leaps to some diametrically opposed position.
It’s their fatal flaw, and I can’t begin to enumerate the situations where it’s happened, but it has become so common that it’s woven into the collective American consciousness.
Is this one of those?
Neither El Salvador nor Trump had any interest in liberating the Maryland Man from his incarceration, but the left wouldn’t give up - as everyone well knows, they would not. Pick a target, isolate it. Act like a kid on a long car trip, asking if we’re home yet?

My suspicion is that the plan was to leave him there and let the Dems get tired and fall asleep in the back of the car, but someone at DOJ went on a treasure hunt and struck gold. Human smuggling caught on bodycam? Running human smuggling for MS-13. Maryland man indicted on charges of trafficking women and children - and the Bidenistas misplaced about 300,000 migrant kids.
The Dem's hero was already legally processed and evicted on pre-existing deportation orders, but this is better than gold? I can see the midterm campaign commercials rolling out, much like the 88-Bush campaign’s very effective Willie Horton attack ads directed at Michael Dukakis. Horton committed rape and assault in Maryland after escaping from a weekend furlough.
Maryland Senator Chris VanHollen flew down to have a sit-down with Garcia. Secretary of State Marco Rubio joked that they had Margaritas together.
Four House Democrats have traveled to El Salvador to call attention to the plight of a man the Trump administration deported to a Salvadoran prison and has refused to help return — even after the Supreme Court ruled that it was the government’s duty to do so.
Reps. Yassamin Ansari of Arizona, Maxine Dexter of Oregon, Maxwell Frost of Florida and Robert Garcia of California arrived Sunday in the Central American nation to investigate the condition of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who had lived in the United States for more than a decade.
It was a proglodyte pilgrimage site. The ultimate trans-national virtue signal. And now Kilmar Abrego Garcia is back and implicated in human trafficking that might have included some of those kids the Biden Admin misplaced.
It might be a coincidence, but I have to wonder. If the Dems had just let it be, would anyone at Juscie have bothered to track down all the evidence of just how badly their Maryland Man had behaved while in America for a Decade?
Speaking of letting it be, I’ve not seen any reports of MAGA folks keying Teslas or lighting EVs on fire since the Trump/Musk bromance ended - but Radical Socialist gangs are burning down what the LA fires didn’t to keep the Government from deporting criminals like Abrego Garcia.
Be careful who you stand with on that one, Dems. America voted for the deportations. Siding with violence and arson isn’t likely to have the legs it had with BLM.
