United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson was gunned down from behind on the street in an act of cold-blooded murder. Assassinated. Executed. So, who is surprised that the Democrat Mafia is applauding that, or at least making excuses for it? No one should be. This is the party of death. The party of “kill the rich.”
One of the big stories over the weekend involved a guillotine. BLM protesters marched into the Portland suburbs with a mock guillotine. …
The campaign logo of Democrat US Senate candidate Bre Kidman (Maine) is a guillotine. She prints on shirts and sells them to fund her campaign.
Likewise, a local TDS poster-child shared an image of the beheading device as part of a rant about how Trump supporters should repent because your president is evil.
Then there’s that Sanders Campaign Staffer caught on undercover video saying they should Guillotine the rich.
This is who they are, so gunning a healthcare CEO down is justice to them, utterly devoid of irony. Yes, the COVID era gain. Who was the tip of the spear for destroying jobs, careers, businesses, and lives (as in lifestyles) over a matter of…healthcare?
If you said Democrats, you’ve been paying attention. But that’s not the worst of it. The message is that this sort of random vigilantism is good for something; democracy perhaps - murdering the right people for the right reasons is justifiable homicide.
Then why oppose the death penalty? Why not let moms or dads gun down the illegals who raped their children? Convicted serial killers get bullets to the back of the head. Or, as Piers Morgan asked, what about the executives of all the other healthcare companies? They have families and children; should they be murdered?
If you elevate a murderer to a folk hero and justify their assassination on the street, the answer has to be yes, but what sort of world does that invite? What if someone guns down Sandy Cortez or Liz Warren for supporting some policy that ends lives, whether it does that or not? Perception and narrative are all that matters on the left, but only when the left likes the result, like someone trying to kill candidate Trump.
They didn’t all say it, but the same group that thinks good was done on that New York Street was muttering amongst themselves that they wish Thomas Crooks hadn’t missed. They aren’t the least bit interested in anything about him, including how he got access, how the protection detail or the investigation was bungled, how evidence was destroyed, whether the FBI knew him (I think they did), why he had no digital footprint, or anything else. They were upset that Trump survived.
Those are the guillotine people. The folks who dismissed the destruction of black businesses, jobs, and lives while claiming Black Lives Mattered. They are the people in Canada coming up with more reasons to expedite death under the cover of assisted suicide. The people who think killing a baby at the moment of birth is a constitutional or human right.
And I’m concerned for them. Like most Democrats of their persuasion (they aren’t all like that, thank God), they never think what they are doing or saying will come back on them. Someone not all that right in the head (mentally or politically) may see this as an invitation to take out their umbrage (for any reason) with lethal force. I value life, law, and justice. I condemn these acts and, as a matter of policy (on the political blog), prohibit comments or content with direct or implied threats of violence against any group or individual. There’s no place for it in debate or discussion. It must be purged from your thinking, or you end up like them.
Be vigilant and vocal, but maintain a solid grip on inner peace. Be always prepared to forgive the penitent and defend yourself and others from immediate threats.
If Brain Thompson was guilty of anything, he deserved a trial, confronted by his accusers, and judged by a jury of his peers. If the Left’s response - those making excuses - says anything, it is that they don’t believe in any of that, and if you don’t think that is how they’d run the government, then you’re not paying attention.
That was where we were headed. That is where they will take us if they get back into power. We can’t allow that to happen, or it is one of us gunned down in the street, our killer framed as some sort of progressive folk hero.
"If Brian Thompson was guilty of anything, he deserved a trial, confronted by his accusers, and judged by a jury of his peers."
I think the point of the assassination -- and the approval being expressed by a significant part of the public -- is that an increasing number of people believe that the justice system has been captured by the wealthy and influential, and therefore can't be used against them. And they're not entirely wrong about that.
Having made themselves court-proof, the wealthy and influential now have to worry about making themselves bullet-proof.
He is made a hero while Daniel Penny stood trial for murder because he was protecting people on the subway! And they are baby killers.
