When Dems Cry 'Hitler!'

They are referring ... to themselves.

Democrat projection - the painting of opponents with things they themselves do - is neither new nor unusual. If you've been paying attention long enough, the moment a prominent Democrat (in or out of media) makes an accusation, you assume they're doing that very thing, have, or will soon. It is one of the safest leaps you'll ever make.

Take fascism, for example. Most Democrats don't even know what it is. What they do know is that everyone but them is fascist. It is very Mao. For a while, Chinese Marxists labeled Russian Marxists as fascists because their communism wasn't Mao's communism. Two bins. Our thing, and everyone else's. That's America to the political Left. You toe their line, or you are a fascist (a bigot, white supremacist, racist, or hater). You are with them or the problem. And the problem is fascism (even though their version of democracy is eerily like fascism or at least the corporatist/syndicalist variations).

He’s Hitler!

You can't invoke fascism without finding a way to Hitler, even though Hitlerism was different from Mussolini's fascism. The thing they have in common is a militant top-down police state dictatorship with absolute control of everything. Especially when it suits them. Is there a more perfect description of America under Biden and Harris, whose party mouthpieces compare their political opponents to Hitler - a trend that has been fashionable since, well, Hitler? I'm not sure what they called them before that.

Barry Goldwater was Hitler. Nixon was Hitler. Reagan was Hitler. Both Bushes were Hitler. Heck, FDR accused Wendell Willkie of using Hitler tactics.

And they're still at it. Donald Trump is Hitler, except he's not. Mr. Trump never asked your family, friends, neighbors, or children repeatedly to spy on you. Democrats did it under Obama, beginning in 2008, after he was inaugurated, and more recently, with more enthusiasm during COVID. The human surveillance state continues to be a feature of the Left's rhetoric today with their truth squads, disinformation ministers, and applying pressure on social media to censor things the government doesn't like. It's Hitlerian and distinctly left-wing.

Neither Trump nor Republicans used the government to spy on the press, our allies, members of Congress - including in their own party - or their political opponents. That was Obama, again, whose weaponized intelligence services continued the practice on Donald Trump and, to this day, probably still doing Barry's bidding just under the pretense of the Biden administration.

Trump never sent nor advocated street mobs that harassed and suppressed opponents’ speech. He didn't advocate the destruction of historical monuments. Trump refused to appease groups like Antifa and BLM before or after they burned down black-owned businesses and ruined entire minority neighborhoods. He didn't support compelled speech (silence is violence) or the use of power groups to leverage locals and businesses against their will. That's left-wing politics, and if you remember your history, Hitlerian.

And What About Jews?

We then have the more practical problem of the day. Donald Trump's son-in-law and daughter are Jewish, as are their children (his grandchildren). Trump is a strong supporter of Israel and even moved the American embassy to Jerusalem.

Democrats, meanwhile, have irreconcilable differences between hating Jews and Israel and pretending to support them. The more radical factions are not shy about singing from the river to the sea, and if it didn't hurt them electorally, you have to wonder if they'd all look the other way and say nothing like UCLA, which needed a Federal judge to make it do the right thing because of the Democrats who run it.

Scarsi wrote on Tuesday. “This fact is so unimaginable and so abhorrent to our constitutional guarantee of freedom that it bears repeating, Jewish students were excluded from portions of the UCLA campus because they refused to denounce their faith. UCLA does not dispute this. Instead, UCLA claims that it has no responsibility to protect the religious freedom of its Jewish students because the exclusion was engineered by third-party protesters. But under constitutional principles, UCLA may not allow services to some students when UCLA knows that other students are excluded on religious grounds, regardless of who engineered the exclusion.”

The College Campus is the resource for all policies in Democrat Run America. Social Justice, CRT, DEI, Men in women’s sports, the 1619 project, gender studies, the racism of anti-racism, the self-segregation movement, displacement, and climate change (living wage, reparations...) all come from the White Tower. These are experts who will help politicians run our lives. They are grown and bred on college campuses, as are the ideas about misinformation, disinformation, malformation (to undermine free speech), the war on religion (mostly Christians, but eventually all of them), and, more specifically, virulent and systemic antisemitism. These ideas are Hitlerian and aligned with Adolf’s fascist values.

Freed from the constraints placed upon them by Constitutional or statutory law, these institutions would do far worse - and sometimes do anyway. At the same time, many Democrats ignore it and look away, much the way more than a few Germans did during Hitler's rise. If they did not make an excuse for it, they pretended it wasn't their problem until it was.

The Real Fascists Are … (No Drumroll required)

Anyone who would sanction any of this behavior, from the suppression of expression to restrictions on travel to (and in the case of the pandemic) the legitimization of a two-class system with social and punitive restrictions, can and will enforce them on anyone, anywhere, when it suits them. The product of UCLA and far too many other American Campuses will continue to think it the right of their mob to compel or silence speech, restrict access absent certain oaths and deprive you of property and liberty for the benefit of their priorities while claiming some higher public purpose. And nothing about what they claim makes you unique will protect you. Being black, a woman, gay, trans, a teacher, in a union, a wealthy donor, or just a “trying to keep your head down” rank and file Democrat. The moment you get the oath wrong, you will be subject to closer examination and, depending on the slight, made into an example.

5 am FBI Raid, child porn on your computer, emails and texts connecting you to suspicious characters, a stack or process crimes, lawfare, or - maybe you end up like Seth Rich, dead in a hotel bathroom. Perhaps you "commit suicide" like Jeffrey Epstein, or how about that Clinton Crime Family guy who hung himself with an extension cord from a tree before shooting himself in the chest with a shotgun that traveled a dozen yards into some brush after leaping off his trigger finger?

Hitler was arguably less creative than the Clintons, but there is nothing comparable in Mr. Trump's or his supporters' history that would support any of that. They are 180 degrees from it. Diametrically. Speech and travel should be as free as possible. The government should not be spying on you. We cannot be a nation without borders. The law applies to everyone, or it is not law. Taxes should be low. Government is a necessary (and therefore must be limited) evil. You should be free to believe anything or nothing as long as you do not deny anyone else the same right. Mob rule is bad, as was Hitler, and at the end of every day, Democrats have a lot more in common with Hitler and fascism.

They share liberty-limiting totalitarian ideologies projecting their tyranny upon their opponents (and that everyone who is not them is their opponent). Once you see that, you can’t stop seeing it and then rejecting it, which is very good for America.
