Agreed. I do have one point of order. Federal government employees that are furloughed are entitled to back pay as a matter of law (Public Law 116-1). So we’ll be paying out something no matter what…the question is what opportunities exist going forward to restrain the bureaucracy which has inflated at an incredible rate over the previous administration.
Thanks for the clarification! And I could settle for being fired with back pay, but no pay going forward. Small sacrifices, if we can get there from here.
We have insurance through my husband's job. We pay every month. Does not include vision. We have a deductible. And we still end up paying out of pocket because certain things are not covered. Nothing is ever free!
What? You mean this is a Democrat-caused shutdown? The TV called it a Republican Shutdown.
I guess that's because Republicans did not give in to the extortion demands of the Democrats.
$1.5 Trillion? That's $1,500,000,000,000. That's a lot of taxpayer money to fund healthcare for illegals, and other unAmerican Democrat pet projects.
